Obituary
Dolores lea roupe, 83, of charleston passed away april 19, 2018 at the hubbard hospice house after an extended illness.
She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, shirley roupe; daughters twyla mooney, dorothy belcher, sherry crouch, and alina roupe; grandchildren amber hicks, justin walker, jeremy walker, michael crouch, greg crouch and nevaeh roupe; great grandchildren emerson beall, kaeley walker and gunner crouch; and her cherished dog wiggles.
Dolores was born on november 7, 1934 in lookout, wv. She was a longtime employee of arthur treachers fish and chips in downtown charleston and worked several years at the charleston job corp. She loved her family dearly and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Dolores was a dedicated member of the kingdom hall of jehovah’s witnesses where she served faithfully alongside her husband for over 67 years.
Services will be held at 2 pm, saturday, april 28, 2018 at the kingdom hall of jehovah’s witnesses, 5018 lancaster ave. In charleston. A gathering for friends and family will be immediately following at the marmet women’s club, 9411 maccorkle ave. In marmet.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the many friends and family and to the hubbard hospice house for their care and support in dolores’ final days.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the kingdom hall of jehovah’s witnesses and/or hubbard hospice house.

We Only Had The Pleasure Of Spending Time With Jeremy’S Grandmother A Couple Of Times. However, He Has Told Us Many Stories About Growing Up With Her And His Grandfather. I Feel We Have Come To Know A Lot About Her Through His Eyes. She Must Have Been A Truly Exceptional Woman To Acquire As Much Love And Admiration As She Has Received From Him. She Has Undoubtedly Been A Leading Force In His Life In Making Him Into The Remarkable Young Man He Has Become. We Thank Her For That As He Is A Wonderful Husband To Our Daughter.
