Obituary

Eugene R Clutter, 69, of Rainelle, WV, passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2020, at CAMC (Charleston Area Medical Center,) in Charleston WV, after an extended illness.  There will be no memorial service held at this time.

Eugene was born in Renick WV, to Raymond Clutter and Theda (Alderman) Clutter on July 10, 1950. He grew up in Renick, and went to school in Greenbrier County. He was married 42 years to Diannia J. Brown. He worked as a construction worker on many structures in and around the Greenbrier County area. He was also a member of the Kingdom Hall for many years.

Eugene was preceded in death by his wife, Diannia Clutter; his son, Travis Clutter; his sister, Peggy Pritt; and his parents, Raymond Clutter and Theda (Alderman) Clutter.

Eugene is survived by his two daughters Jeanett Fox and her husband, Staran, of Rainelle WV; Claudett McGill and her husband, Joe of Fairfield IL; three brothers, Wayne Clutter, of White Sulphur Springs WV; Raymond Clutter, of Beckley WV; and Ronald Clutter of Mount Hope WV; six Grandsons, Brandon Clutter of VA, Nathaniel Fox, and Liam Fox of Rainelle, WV, Michael Clutter, Cody Clutter, and Daniel McGill. One Granddaughter, Korey McGill all of Fairfield IL. He was also blessed with great Grandchildren, Elijah Clutter, and Chloe Clutter, also of Fairfield IL; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family of Eugene wish to extend our sincere thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and Staff at CAMC who took care of him in his last days.
