Obituary

Kanawha County resident Jack Raymond Barlow Jr., passed away suddenly May 25, 2020 in
Charleston, WV.
Jack was born June 16, 1963 In Atlanta Georgia to Beverly and Jack Sr.
He was a graduate of East Bank High School and then went on to serve his country in the United States Army. He spent 2 years in Germany before returning home.
Jack was a master electrician and could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He loved his family and friends and devoted much of his time helping others that needed help.
Jack is survived by his mother, Beverly Gray of South Charleston; sisters, Karen McMillion of
Charleston, Jami McMillion of Hurricane and Laura Snodgrass of Hernshaw; brothers, Scottie Snodgrass of Charleston and Maurice Berkley of Charleston; his daughters, Jordan Barlow of Nitro, Amber Cato of Georgia; son, Nick Barlow of Boston; nephews, Andrew McMillion of Charleston, Jacob Gray of Charleston and Damian Meeks of Cross Lanes; nieces Shelby and Emma Crowe both of Georgia; and a grandson that he never had the pleasure of meeting but that he loved dearly Quinton Cato.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Barlow Sr. and his brother, Michael Barlow both of Georgia.
Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Thomas officiating.
The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

  4. We have been good friends since high school and they always got Harlow and Barlow mixed up to the point we became brother and sister lol! People asked and you said yes I can’t believe how many people believed us but the reality of it actually was the beginning of our life long friendship! I
    Couldn’t have asked for a better friend/brother than you! I will never forget your laugh and that smile you always had when I saw you! I also will never forget the Hawaiian Tropic contest you entered that i was judging now that was a night I’ll never forget you made me laugh so hard but you always did! From one Veteran to another Fly High my friend! Please get me that number in Heaven so I can call you on your birthday like we always did yours the 16th and mine the 17th! My Prayers and Condolences to all your family and your friends and a special prayer for your mother and your children and last but not least Henry, Jimbo and Elizabeth whom I know life Without you will never be the same for any of us because we all loved you in our own special ways! I miss you already and I’ll always love you! Check on us from time to time and if you don’t mind find a way to let me know that your OK! Peace be with you always my friend!

  5. Remembering all of the great times we had camping together at Cranberry and Blue Bend and East Lynn Lake!!! Playing pool and drinking cold ones at Murad’s and listening to Jack’s laughter will always be remembered!!!
