Obituary

Katina nicoloudakis passed away at camc general division on monday, november 12, 2018, after a short illness. She was born on november 14, 1932, in kefalas, crete, greece, and was the daughter of george and maria milonoyiannis. Katina immigrated to the united states in 1970 with her beloved husband george and her two sons spyro and yianni. Her daughter maria was born shortly thereafter.

Katina was a lifelong member of st. John’s greek orthodox church. She was a devout orthodox christian who practiced her faith daily. Her joys in life included caring and cooking for her family and visiting her homeland yearly.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, george nicoloudakis; sister, aleka ntano of chania, crete; sons, spyros nicoloudakis (anna) and yianni nicoloudakis (kandy); daughter, maria femia (greg); nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 11 a.M. Friday, november 16, at st. John’s greek orthodox church, charleston, with fr. Matthew moore and fr. John dixon officiating. Burial will follow at sunset memorial park, south charleston. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to st. John’s greek orthodox church, 3512 maccorkle avenue, se, charleston, wv 25304.
