Obituary

Ruby Garnet Snow age 93, went home to be with the Lord, on September 9th, 2020. Ruby loved her family, friends, and her dog Bitsy. She also loved puzzle books, children and she was an avid Mountaineer fan.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy & Alvin Strickland; her husband Grant E. Snow; three children Shirley, Lil Eddie, & Steve, two brothers Darrell & Farley Strickland, & her loving sister Cova Rexroad.

Left to cherish Ruby’s memories are her sons, David (Shonda) & Douglas; daughter Denise; grandchildren, Tiffany (Parnell), Jason (Melissa), Grant (Atalie), Amanda, Amy & a myriad of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all who assisted in her care over the years, including Barlow Bonsall Funeral Home. Words can not express the level of appreciation we have for each of you.

The WVU Human Gift Registry received donation of Ruby’s body for scientific studies therefore a “Celebration of Life” is planned for Saturday September 19, 2020 at 3964 McLane Pike Red House, WV 25168 at 2pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that monetary donations be made to Grant or Atalie Snow for end of life care.
