Please Accept My Condolences On The Passing Of Your Mother Grandmother. When I Was Named Special Prosecutor In The Impeachment Of A.James Manchin Back In The Late 1980’S I Had The Pleasure Of Working With Rita For Many Months As I Put The Case Together And Eventually Issued A Long And Detailed Report, Every Page Of Which Rita Scrutinized, Edited, And Typed. She Was A Lovely Person To Know And Work With And Later Helped With My Campaign For Governor. Please Know How Fond I Grew Of Her And How Much I Admired Her . She Was A Truly Wonderful Addition To The Human Race. May God Shine His Blessings Upon Her And Your Family.

Rita Was My Colleague, Friend And Confidante For The 18 Years I Served In The House. She Was The Key Ingredient In The Judiciary Committee That Made It The Gold Standard For Legislative Service. She Kept Chairmen Like Joe Albright And Staff Lawyers Like John Sibray And Mike Mowery, And Those Who Followed, Under Control And Headed In The Same Direction. Rita Leaves A Legacy Of Excellence, Professionalism, And Dedication: A True Public Servant.

Rita Was A Fine, Fine Person, And Her Constancy And Perfection In Her Work Was Unequalled. I First Met Her In 1973, And I Had The Good Fortune To Work With Her Throughout Her Many Years In House Judiciary, Then I Was Lucky Enough To Have Her As My Assistant As House Clerk. Her Work Was Perfection, Her Demeanor Was Always Professional, Her Dedication To Her Work And To Her Family Was Impeccable. I Am Blessed To Have Known Her For So Many Years, And I Will Always Remember Her With Deepest Respect And Affection.
